I am singularly focused on a full time career in stage management, and am excited to gain a well-rounded knowledge of theatre while pursing my degree in college. I hope to work as a stage manager in a variety of different venues and environments, but hope to make it as a stage manager on Broadway one day.

Steve Bayless Musical Theatre Scholarship White Scholarship (2022)

Committed to Palm Beach Atlantic University

My plan is to major in acting, theatre arts, or musical theatre depending on the school I attend. After college I want to continue performing professionally. My family is also all in the arts and we want to start a company together. My ultimate dream is to originate a role in a musical, to have everyone know THAT character as me. I also just hope to be an inspiration to younger girls, someone they can aspire to be like. I’m also not 100% stuck on ONLY performing, I love to direct, choreograph, and stage manage as well as perform. I am also interested in Voice acting since I have a youthful/unique tone.

Long term, I intend on using my degree in production and design to work on theatre that is ground-breaking. I am drawn to adventurous styles of production. I don’t want to make theatre with a solely commercial intention. I want to make theatre that challenges it’s audience to view the world differently.

Steve Bayless Musical Theatre Scholarship (2021)

Committed to Manhattan School of Music

My primary goal is to perform professionally in musical theater. I plan to graduate with my BFA and new sets of skills with which I will get cast in professional productions. With each casting, I will further develop my skills and love for this art form. Through my performances, I want to strengthen the connection between people and theater. I want to create art that will help people understand and cope with the stresses of their lives. I want my audience to have the opportunity to decompress their emotions and experience the gift of catharsis through art.

Fran Walker Scholarship (2020)

My career goal is to perform for a living. Since I was born I’ve always known that singing and performing were what I wanted to do with my life. I hope to attend a 4 year university and major in Musical Theatre where I will receive the necessary training to prepare me. From there I hope to get an agent and move to New York and begin audition for Broadway shows and other performance opportunities.
